The Ninth Gate

I just finished watching The Ninth Gate again. I tell you, it's a great movie. There are so many hidden and intricate things about the plot. Things, I think the average person won't get. Hell, most film critics (like Roger Ebert) didn't “get it”. But, hell a colleague of mine swears Ebert never “gets it.” I don't know if that may be the case or not. He sure likes his films spelled out for him, I will tell you that.

Ninthgate

Ebert is a good guy, and you cannot fault anyone for not understanding something. However, I would argue, on some unconscious level Ebert did understand The Ninth Gate.

I should do a vid about it. Perhaps, I will. I may indeed.
