The Intuitive and the Sensory

I remember walking though a library with a friend. One of us said, “Wow, look at all this knowledge.” The other smirked and said, “...it's information.”

Right there is the perfect example of the two types of thinking, represented by “S” for sensory and “N” for intuitive. That example is the psychological watershed between the two.

The S sees it as simply a utilitarian exponent: The printed word. It may be used or discarded.

While the N sees it as the summation of a life's experience: printed and colored by the author.

Both would be correct, but I would say the S seems to use a concrete intelligence about things. On the other hand the N uses a phantasmagorical imagination to comprehend.
